Bitchin’: Funk & Feminism offers a surprising new look at Funk art, highlighting women who have often been omitted from the movement’s history. The exhibition shows that Funk was both a vehicle for feminist expression and a target of critique by feminists and their allies.

Things to Do Around Here

  • Just a few minutes from di Rosa, MARKET is a great stop for coffee before or after your visit. Located at Carneros Resort and Spa, MARKET offers coffee and espresso drinks, house-made pastries, smoothies, breakfast bites, and other treats. Pick up something to go and bring it with you to enjoy at one of di Rosa’s outdoor picnic areas.

  • Just down the road from di Rosa, Stanly Lane Smokehouse is one of my favorite spots for lunch in Carneros. This family-owned local spot serves great sandwiches featuring pit-smoked meats, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It’s relaxed, and a great place to grab a bite before or after your visit to di Rosa.

  • Right across the road from Stanly Lane Smokehouse, there is a trailhead for the Bay Trail. It is a great place to stretch your legs. The winding path passes beneath towering eucalyptus trees and through the Carneros landscape, with beautiful vineyard views and the Napa River. It’s also a great option for a walk with your dog—especially since dogs aren’t permitted at di Rosa.
